My name is Keri Chapman, and this is my tenth year as an educator.  Prior to becoming an administrator, I spent nine years in the classroom - all in small, rural public schools.  I've taught second, fifth, seventh, and eighth grade.  Elementary grades are definitely my passion.  I accepted a PK-4 assistant principal position at Morris Elementary in Yuma, Colorado with two goals in mind - to improve staff and student culture and to improve instructional content.  While improvements have been made over the course of this year, as always, we still have work to do.  I look forward to continuing this work with the amazing staff and students I am privileged to work with each day.
